"First of all, the directions were OK but the sign that said Bittersweet Farm was very very difficult to see at night. It was up on a pole and was not visible due to there being no light in that area. Then when looking for the first cabin, there was no sign indicating that it was called Moose Lodge. Finding the cabin was very difficult at night. Once I found the cabin the area where I parked was very dark, and there was no walkway from the parking area to the cabin. Upon entering the cabin and checking things out, I was very disappointed that it wasn’t cleaner. The bathroom could use a good cleaning and there were bugs and dust all around the perimeter and windowsills. I’m thankful I did not need to use the window air conditioner as it appeared to be full of mold. The next morning, I packed up my things cleaned up what little trash I had and left the cabin the way the instructions stated. I did not return for the second night that I had originally booked."

"The space itself was absolutely amazing, and the outdoor features really stood out. The pond was perfect for fishing, and the paddle boats were a fun and relaxing addition that we truly enjoyed. However, there were several noticeable maintenance issues that took away from the overall experience. There were holes in the walls, missing trim, and peeling ceilings that made parts of the home feel dated and neglected. The pool table baskets were broken, and the hot tub cover was falling apart. Although the lights were labeled, they were still very difficult to figure out. Unfortunately, the hot tub also had an unpleasant smell. With some basic upkeep and attention to detail, this place could truly be incredible.”"

"What a great relaxing stay in a clean and cozy cabin! Lisa was a great host. Very responsive, cookies were a great touch. My girls loved staying in the loft. We live close enough to visit here again and again. Our dogs enjoyed the stay as well. The kitchen had everything you need. So many quaint touches by the host that made the stay perfect. "

"We had an amazing time celebrating my bday at this beautiful cabin. It was so peaceful and private. The hot tub was a large comfortable one and the fireplace was perfect! They had great directions explaining how to use everything in the cabin. We had a little friend cat come visit us while we were enjoying listening to the wildlife. We love the history of the place"
