"We stayed here for one night, and if our stay had been any longer, we would have looked for a different hotel. We arrived about 15 minutes before check-in, and our room wasn't ready, which wasn't a big issue. We went to a nearby park and returned around 3:15 PM. The front desk manager informed us that our room was ready, but when we entered, a staff member was still inside making beds and preparing the room. Our shower was slow draining and water pooled in the bottom as well. One of the main reasons we chose this hotel was for the pool, but upon arrival we discovered it was unavailable because it was being used for storage during renovations. It would have been appreciated if guests had been notified ahead of time, especially during Memorial Day weekend when many families are specifically looking for hotels with amenities like a pool. The complimentary breakfast the next morning was very limited. There were only a few small egg omelets, toast, some yogurt, and cereal choices were limited to Raisin Bran and Frosted Flakes. The manager was quick to promote her restaurant connected to the hotel, mentioning that it was much better than the complimentary breakfast at the hotel. We also checked out the hot tub, but it appeared poorly maintained. The water was green, there was debris at the bottom, and it had a strong unpleasant odor. Overall, our experience was disappointing, particularly due to the unavailable pool, lack of communication about aamenities, and cleanliness concerns."
