"I appreciate this hotel every time I stay here. It has a quiet elegance that I enjoy. My room was in the Jagdschloss itself, and it was beautiful and comfortable. The bed was wonderful and I appreciated the selection of pillows. I especially loved the nearby forest and lake, and the walking trails. I plan to return to the Jagdschloss Kranichstein and I recommend it to others. "

"This is a wonderful, family run hotel. Bed and Breakfast with free car parking. There's a slight incline from the CP to the hotel, so be warned if you are frail. The bedroom we had, included a balcony which over looked the hills behind. There are no coffee/ tea making facilities. But we expected that, as we always bring our own. Bathroom is very clean. Clean towels and shower gel. Comfy bed too. Breakfast is a buffet affair. The dining room, is an ornate baroque style. You would be...

"Good location, good price, rooms with windows that open, views of all the area from the room. Great breakfast. Although not to close to the center of town, it is right next to the Hauotbahnhof, which is not a bad area (unlike, say, Frankfurt, where the Hbf is a crummy area). And there is a direct bus to Frankfurt airport, 30 mins. or so. Unfortunately they only take credit cards on the bus.

Unfortunately, my husband broke his wrist during our stay while hiking. Not only was the German healthcare system excellent, but the staff did a great job accommodating our extra night’s stay. "
