"Nice condo near beach (wish that was a little clearer thought we would be closer to beach). Overall served purpose for trip, bicycle ride event of the island. Like it was gated security patrolled property. Little odd no beach towels, not a big deal. There was plenty of other beach gear if you wanted it. We use VRBO because we don’t like hotels and this property like most we frequent make it easy to continue going this path rather than hotels."

"My husband, toddler, MIL and myself came to HH for a wedding and stayed a few extra days to make it a fun weekend getaway. This property was absolutely perfect for our needs. The villa was clean and had everything that you could want for a family vacation…from a fully outfitted kitchen, to two full bathrooms, an outdoor veranda and even a beach wagon and chairs. The property is within walking distance to the beach, a playground and two swimming pools and a 10 min drive to local grocery stores...

"We had a wonderful time celebrating our anniversary at the Pelican Beach Villa! This villa is exceptionally clean and comfortable. The view is beautiful with gorgeous sunsets. Stunning views of the Edisto river. Just a quick walk on the boardwalk to the beach. The wildlife was incredible. We even had some deer come by as we were sitting on the covered porch. Highly recommend this villa! Thanks for having us! 😊"

"Property was clean and big enough for two people. All necessary items for a month long stay were there. A large table on the patio would be nice for having a meal outside especially for longer stays. Betsy was very responsive to all our requests. The use of the guest amenity card was also nice to have. We as golfers did not use the islands golf course as they were pricey. Overall if you want to go to the Beach and stay in the gated community is the place to go. Getting out of the islands is time...

"Easy access to the beach! The views are AMAZING - the porch is quiet and relaxing. Check in and out were a breeze. Bunk bed was a little less sturdy than I would expect but mattresses and linens were comfortable! The beach chairs were rusted - we found 3 usable ones for 4 of us, so keep that in mind. Rusty was super responsive when we had internet issues. A really nice and pleasant guy to chat with. A great spot for a relaxing girls weekend!"

"We walked into a spotless and welcoming place. Everything needed was provided, including things like beach towels and sunglasses. Plenty of information was available to help get acquainted with the area. Notes were posted on how to contact management and even emergency numbers. Simple rules were clearly stated as to checkout procedures. We were delighted with the care and thought that went into providing every possible "need" that might arise. We will definitely choose Carolina Coastal...

"Fripp Island is a fantastic getaway!! Would certainly recommend. Only problem was the elevator was non-operational for the final two days, but the stairs to the garage worked just fine! An excellent location on the beach, plus the golf cart to use all over the island was exceptional! Will be glad to return and use again in the future!"

"This was decent for the price and that’s the reason I would recommend it but it comes with a price: (not what we usually choose as far as type of condo). I had to wash the sheets and comforter when we arrived due to lots of hair on them. This was first floor and the people above us got up by 6am and stomped from front to back of their condo, we could even hear them using the bathroom. Way too noisy. We had a nice view of the marsh and deer that came through then another family started fishing...

"Harbor Island is one of the friendliest and most relaxing places we’ve visited. Community pool overlooks the marsh. Very nice dog park. Great hosts. Spacious condo with very generous starter amounts of everything you need. Easily cooked for our family. Saw many alligators and nesting egrets from the balcony. Binoculars help!"

"My family loved this place and agreed that it was probably our ideal location on Seabrook (we've been visiting the island for 5 years). The tree house is near the tip of the island and all of the beach boardwalks, but it is also just off of the main boulevard so that you can easily bike up to the Freshfields Village if you're up for the 4 mile ride (which is totally lovely in the shade of the trees and the flat terrain and general culture of shared roadway). The tree house has two full bedrooms...
