"Our stay in March was just so lovely. The staff was extremely helpful. The location is ideal... not even a 2min walk to the beach, a breakfast spot next door, and three restaurants at varying price points on the same block. We couldn't have asked for anything better"

"Great location on Onetangi beach. Communication with host was easy with quick responses, check in was efficient and fast. Overall a great, well appointed property. Our only comment would be A/C is only in the main floor and does not cool the upstairs space. We had planned on grilling meal for ourselves, but couldn’t find a way to light the bbq as nothing was provided. A bit of a disappointment. "

"We finished our 2 week journey through NZ at Wavesong. It was perfection! The unit sits above the beach just a short bit giving way to sweeping ocean views from the living area and the bedroom. It’s bright, fresh and clean and well equipped. Morning coffee on the deck was a wonderful way to start our days in Onetangi. Our hosts, Robyn and Leighton, were very communicative as we arrived and couldn’t have been more generous in sharing their local knowledge. Wavesong is a slice of paradise we were so lucky to enjoy. Thank you for everything!"

"It’s dated. Rooms are filled with insects as these are near trees. Pebbles between rooms made walking difficult especially when at night there were no lights between cabins. "

"The package that came along with my booking discussed garbage, laundry, water consumption etc, but made no mention of mosquitos. On Waiheke Island it is a known fact to close your windows at night. I did not and as a consequence received over 200 mosquito bites. I had to seek medical aid and spent the next 3 weeks of my holiday dealing with painful and itchy bites. To make matters worse, when I notified the landlord, they took no responsibility for not being transparent about the mosquitos and simply brushed me off. … the worst stay of my life!"

"Yes we loved staying here. Great views, location and access to the beach/restaurants was fantastic. My friend from England had the best birthday ever. None of us wanted to leave!! Can I suggest a couple of things. Hedges around the pathways leading up to back deck could be trimmed, shower hose needs mending in main bathroom and spider webs all along balcony railing to be removed. Nothing major though.
