"This hotel is lovely and we had a great time during our stay. If you don't want to eat in the hotel in the evenings (vegetarian buffet), then there are couple of food options nearby but be mindful that Mondays seem to be very quiet with a lot of places closed. You are able to get the bus right outside the hotel in to Budapest in 20 mins. Very easy and convenient to do. Uber's are also easy to get. It was a nice balance between city break and relaxation - just what we wanted. "

"We had a wonderful stay at the Hotel Tiliana. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The hotel was just brilliant, being able to sit outside, eat and drink outside in the gorgeous sunshine was just lovely. The bedroom was great and a very comfortable bed. "It is an excellent chalet with a sauna, a fantastic view, and nature. There is also a pool for swimming and time with kids and a restaurant for a tasty dinner. Easy check-in and check-out, welcoming, and nice personal. "

"Nice place to stay near Budapest"

"Overall a disappointing experience. The spa was very nice, but the restaurant dinner buffet had lukewarm food for a relatively expensive price in Hungary. The breakfast buffet was also lukewarm. After breakfast and before checkout time we returned to our room to find our keycards didn't work anymore. Eventually they reactivated them so we could get back in our room to collect our stuff. At checkout the staff were adamant I hadn't paid via Hotels.com even though I thought I had, and they swiftly prepared my invoice and gave me the payment terminal. While I was paying I was checking my Hotels.com emails and bank account, and only after the payment had gone through I found that I had indeed already paid via Hotels.com. The staff were fortunately able to reverse the transaction, but offered no apology for the mistake. We wouldn't stay here again."

"These people are thieves. Don’t book this “hotel”, it’s a death trap. When I called it out, the manager used his limited English to say No Refunds. No attempt to right the issues. Thieves. Expedia have wiped their hands off it. Book elsewhere."
