"We only stayed for one night but enjoyed the hospitality and the evening Happy Hour. Rooms were excellent. We didn’t get a chance to have breakfast because we were leaving early, but the staff prepared a parfait for us in the morning. We enjoyed sitting on the porch and upstairs balcony."

"My wife, our 3 dogs and I all stayed at Buttercup cottage. Having 3 dogs all over 60 pounds makes it hard to find a place to stay. We where able to stay here with more than enough room PLUS a fenced in yard for the dogs to play. Large king size bed plus a very spacious couch, a small kitchen with plenty of coffee and tea stocked up. We loved everything about this house. We loved the close proximity to downtown Hendersonville and it was easy to get to Asheville and local hiking trails. We will definitely be staying here again in the near future!"

"Very clean, comfortable house! Perfect for our short trip to Hendersonville. We got to relax on the side porch in the evenings. The location is perfect- close to downtown and the events we were attending in Mills River. The access to the greenway was so nice for a morning stroll or an after dinner walk. Would highly recommend! "

"My husband and I stayed here for 45 days after both our mothers passed two months apart. We needed down time and that is what we found here. It is an older updated well maintained cabin complete with squeaking floors that adds to the charm. The front porch was perfect to sit and watch the ducks chase each other. The side screened in porch was perfect to eat meals outside or sit and enjoy the view in the rain. All appliances worked well. We had no issues. The water stays hot for long showers. The beds are comfortable. The owner communicated well and kept us informed but were mot bothersome. More like a quick text to see if we needed anything or someone is coming the grass Monday at 10. - they won’t bother you and you don’t have to be there. She was very accommodating and informative. She did offer use of her cleaner while we were there and let us know just to call when we wanted trash pick up so no one would bother us unnecessarily. My Dad who is local would come over and him and my husband spent a good bit of the fishing from the bank and took the boat out a few times. They caught quite a few fish. The property is about 3 acres or so. The lake takes up the majority.The location was a bit of surprise. Although the property is located off a rather busy road and about two blocks from another, the sound is quite muffled and you couldn’t really hear the cars unless you were paying attention or a random loud vehicle passed by and you could not hear them at all inside. "

"Stunning home and landscaping immediately noted on arrival. Outdoor seating area was great (maybe invest in better cushions on the furniture) and fire pit kept us cozy. It was our favorite place to be all weekend. The bedrooms were large and roomy. Both bathrooms were on the smaller side though and there seems to be plenty of space upstairs that another bathroom would make a longer stay with 6 adults more appealing. If couples need to get ready together it’s tight to move around each other and there’s no countertop space on the sinks. I was pleased that everything was very very clean. Living room area is ok. The LR Furniture is low and not really enough seating for 6. But with the outdoor seating and the things to do downtown who needs comfortable living room furniture right? We definitely plan to stay again and discussed spending more time hanging out in the backyard under the covered pergola playing cards. Thank you for a great (too short) getaway. It is a lovely home!
