"This is a charming hotel right in the midst of Old Town. There are tons of restaurants within walking distance, there's a fun museum right across the street, and on Saturdays there is a farmers market across the street. The rooms appeared to be remodeled fairly recently - nicely done and very comfortable. We stayed in a queen suite. The bathroom was large and there was even a fairly large closet in addition to the kitchenette space with stovetop, sink and refrigerator. We only stayed one night, but it was nice. We did not have the breakfast buffet, but did enjoy the snacks and coffee in lobby/atrium area. Nice! BTW, it is also nice to have a free covered parking garage for your stay."

"Our stay included 5 adults for 3 nights while we were in Wichita for a family event. They did a nice renovation on this old house - had all the modern conveniences we needed. The furniture was comfortable. The house is full of charm and character in a quiet, charming neighborhood. (The mailman even waves and says "hi" when going about his rounds.) One person in our group enjoyed using the hot tub and loved it. Beds were comfortable and had nice, soft sheets. Even though we were fairly close to 13th street (a main east/west street -- which makes it easy to get around to things in Wichita), we did not notice a lot of traffic noise. Seemed like the house was fairly well insulated from that. It was great having two separate living spaces - nice bonus. Outdoor space was good. Loved the set-up in the kitchen. Although we didn't cook a meal, we did use the coffee pot and countertop air fryer for breakfasts. All in all, we had a relaxing, comfortable stay. And I believe the host was probably the most responsive I've ever had with a rental. There was an issue (which was largely caused from a very last-minute rental request on my part) at check-in. But the host responded to me almost immediately and the issue was solved. Maybe the only caution is to be aware that the stairs going down into the basement were somewhat steep, but nothing crazy or dangerous - just might want to be aware if you have children or elderly folks in your group. The house worked well for us."

"It was strange being in a room with no window but the room was well decorated so I didn't mind not having a window."

"My major complaint, it was very dirty! Deck looked like it was ready to fall off, driveway was cracked and on a very steep incline. Main floor shower was very dark"

"The corner rooms a spacious with a great view. The only thing keeping this place from a 5star rating is the road noise. The hotel sits on the main drag for the younger croud on weekends, so it was noisy until around 1am when the hot rodding drivers finally went home. "

"Beautiful home in a beautiful area. We had a massive lightning storm, and it was the best viewing you could ever have. Won’t ever forget it. Everything was great in this house and Jennifer was a very prompt communicator and accommodated as well. "
