"The hotel is beautiful! It was clean, the staff was very friendly, and the parking garage was next door with easy parking. Next to the lobby is a large living space with chairs, tables, couches, fire place, fountain, and bar. If your room is on the interior section where you can view the lobby's living space, you can hear the bar patrons chatting and the Friday/ Saturday Jazz music playing. The music stopped and bar closed early, returning to a quiet hotel. I thought it all stopped rather early myself. I personally loved it, the music and activity. There was a very nice gathering there. I think it was a wedding reception, it was respectful and elegant; I was watching from my room. The made a quiet room filled with a little life. Not all rooms are face towards the lobby's living space. If the bar and gatherings are not for you, you can request a room away from the lobby area. The rooms are nice, large, and has wonderful kitchen. The are doors within the room, to allow interconnecting of rooms when booking more than 1 room. I am for sure going to come back! The area used to be an industrial district, many years ago, now refurbished to restaurants, shops and such. I loved the urban area and will be returning."

"The overall appearance is good however the hotel could use some maintenance I've stayed in two different rooms and found light bulbs burned out and other things like toilet seats needing replaced. The last stay the facility locked the side door, I'm handicapped and this caused a much longer walk to handicap parking."

"Holli, the Senior Sales Manager, made our stay truly unforgettable. She reached out before our arrival to help us celebrate my wife's birthday and had chilled champagne and delicious cheesecake waiting in our room when we checked in. That evening, Jacob, our waiter, provided exceptional service and even arranged a table for us in the Speakeasy before the live music began. Our steak dinner was one of the best we've ever had, perfectly prepared and full of flavor, and breakfast the next morning was equally delightful. From start to finish, this was easily one of the very best hotel experiences we've had in Wichita."

"Room was clean and check in staff was friendly and helpful when showing us about parking. The lighting in the room was kind of bare and dark in some areas and didn’t love that the only sink area was directly in the bathroom in the way of everything but for a quick weekend trip it wasn’t too bad."

"I really enjoyed staying at this house in Wichita, Kansas. This is a classic, Riverside house, meaning it's older, possibly late-1800s but maybe newer. Some remodeling has been done, for example to add internet television in the bedrooms and parlors, but you'll see remnants of the original house in the solid wood doors and high ceiling and pedestal sinks in the bathrooms. Water pressure was excellent and the hot water was HOT. I used just one bedroom, the master, and the bed was very comfortable, with a view of Riverside Park out the main window. The parks being so near--across the street--made for easy walking, disc golf, watching boaters, etc.The street sees very little traffic. It's brick and seems to serve the residents almost exclusively.The hosts, Elise and Molly, were very welcoming and responsive to email questions. I would definitely stay here again!"
