"Extremely comfortable stay here at HomeBound. The place was modern and very nice, with sufficient space for 5 adults (1 person had to sleep in the living room, which works for us) and kitchen fully equipped for us to prepare 2 meals a day. Apartment also had 2 toilets and 1 shower which was very helpful for our group. Would definitely stay here again!"

"This hotel is one of the nicest places, well organized, is very quiet, and it's location on the hillside located southeast of Salzburg is just about perfect, and it's only an 11 minute drive to get downtown. The breakfast is one of the best one's I've had traveling, and the staff area all friendly and very helpful, including Corina (or Catarina -?spelling), Natalie and her fellow worker at the restaurant, and Eva who is from Hungary, and did a superb performance preparing the included breakfast. The view is simply WONDERFUl, and the distant city, mountains, valley, clouds, and snow on the mountaintops... this is why we came to Salzburg and the Austrian Alps... and we were so delighted. We will indeed stay here again soon. jw"

"We had great time at this hotel. Hotel has multiple options for breakfast and supported all our needs. We had food restrictions and hotel accommodate our needs by helping us warming our own food. I do recommend this hotel if anyone planning a trip in the area."

"Chose this hotel as it was nearby someone we were visiting. Don’t think there was much around the hotel itself, so you may want to consider renting a car to get around. Hotel was clean and staff friendly. The room did not have a fridge, which would have been nice for keeping drinks and smaller items. Overall we had a great stay though. We ate at the restaurant for their sushi and burger night, they had vegetarian options for both - and both the meat and veg burgers were delicious."

"The two girls that helped me out were extremely helpful and kind. One was a bit newer, the other had been there a while. They went out of their way to let me in the gym until they closed, as well as helped me out with tea, and recommendation. I didn’t have wifi in my room and they did their best to get the wifi situated in a way that helped me. I didn’t end up getting better signal, but it was the effort on their part that showed me they were willing to go above and beyond. Close trip to Hallstatt, and Bad Ischl itself was beautiful. Wish there were more open food options but if you look hard enough or ask for recommendations you can find a couple good ones. Great location right by the water, restaurant had a fantastic steak, and breakfast buffet was also very good. Will return one day."
