We had a great Snorkeling trip that was arranged by the front desk. Make sure to bring your camera. We didn't because we thought it would get wet. Overall I would recommend this hotel.

Relaxing stay in Nungwi
"We had a very relaxing 6 nights at the Double A. The hotel is not the fanciest place in Nungwi, and could do with a little bit of a facelift, but the rooms we’re comfortable and very clean, and the staff were exceptional. We would definitely visit again."

Very industrious and friendly people, but the infrastructure could use lots of work, especially the roads and the school that we visited. The people make the best of what they have but they need help.

There are much nicer places to stay in Nungwi. If you are a westerner going, be prepared to be "hustled" constantly by the locals. There are some small shops selling tourist items and clothing that are ok.
