"We (couple and dog) stayed at the VRBO for seven nights. It is a unique building and we certainly recommend the property, with a few caveats. Read the "amenities" closely. I failed to notice there was no washer/dryer or iron/ironing board listed, when I booked. We found a decent coin laundry in Wooster where you can wash your clothes, dog and car in the same building. There is one dry cleaner in Wooster and they close by 3PM. There a broom and dust pan, but no vaccumm cleaner. Don't forget to bring ice and water, it is 20 minutes to a store if you run out. There is no privacy between the sleeping area in the loft and the living area below. Lighting in the main area is dim. It was not easy to read at night, unless you can get near one of the small table lamps. The step-up at the front of the main room and the raised brick around the electric fire place may be a tripping hazard for young children or the elderly. Hard flooring throughout and no carpeting/area rugs for kids to play on. The ac/heat works very well, but none of the windows in the building open for fresh air. The projection TV and huge screen is great and couch is very comfortable. The Mohicanville Dam is about 1.5 miles away on RT 175. At the dam there is a huge grass field for letting a dog off leash. Did not see anyone around on our daily visit to the dam."

"It’s a GREAT place for the price but there is no longer a pub and restaurant next door to this location, which we were planning on for a meal or two. We had room 100 which was the first room after going up a slight incline so you have to watch your step going in and out. We tried to turn on the air but got a musty smell but the temperature was cool outside so it wasn’t bad without it. The staff were friendly and the room was clean and comfortable. The decor felt homey!"
