"Host, Salvos, was a real asset. We had a dreadful start to our holiday with a five hour flight delay and as a result our car hire vehicles were rented out to others. "I had been looking at several villas in the area, but when I saw this one, I knew it was the one I wanted, however in the Vrbo brochure it says it is a short walk to the church, but it is a 15 minute drive, apart from that it looked good. On arrival I was greeted by Salvo who was lovely, his English was not great, but I am trying to learn Italian so it was good practice for me. The villa was even better than it looked. A good size pool along with excellent accommodation, and plenty of Bathrooms...

"Thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. Very comfortable mattress with a great AC unit!!! Important on those hot Sicilian nights. I rented the suite which was very spacious and full of 18th century charm. The host was very informative at check in, explaining how to navigate the city center. All staff were wonderfully friendly. Breakfast was delicious each morning and the hotel was very clean and well maintained. A highlight was a private tour of the main palazzo, built in 1726. "
