"We loved this hotel! Right on the main street of Catania, within walking distance of the sights. The room was huge with everything we needed, and breakfast was provided in a cafe a few minutes walk away. The people in the hotel were helpful and friendly. Our flight didn’t arrive until early hours of the morning, we called ahead and the guy was waiting for us. Would highly recommend this hotel!"

"Hotel is modest but overall very good check was fine and breakfast ok only thing I found an issue was the front door was locked which may sound fine but if you didn’t have you key it might be a problem. You were suppose to lock it especially at night and you had to rely on others to do so which was often not the case. There was not often a person at the desk no other issues and still worth the stay "

"After a busy 10 days sight-seeing around Sicily, we found ourselves in this oasis that is Guigguilena. The greeting from Sabrina was warm and personal. The balcony of our spacious room was almost overhanging the ocean. The breakfast was fresh and delicious. One evening Claudia made us a typical and very tasty Sicilian dinner. The centre of Ortigia is an easy 25 minute walk away. What more could one want?"

"We travelled as a 3 generation family of 6: there was plenty of room and the annex adjoining the property was perfect to allow a little more privacy for granny! Nunzia welcomed us very warmly and allowed us to check in a little early after our flight. The lovely Antonio arrived every other day to make sure the pool was clean and water and tend the grounds.
