"The Bunkhouse is the perfect sanctuary to retreat to after a long day of exploring Colorado's beautiful scenery or a full day of hiking. This little oasis is extremely tranquil and very clean. The bed was very comfortable, and it was stocked with all of the necessities. We enjoyed sitting on the back deck taking in the cool air during several of the nights we stayed. There is a little fire pit and a playground. The cabin also has a wood-burning stove, which we didn't use, but would definitely come in handy if you stay in the fall or winter. The host was extremely receptive to all communications and both kind and generous. We left behind a very important artifact in the little cabin by mistake and didn't realize it until we got to the airport. Our host went out of her way to carefully pack it and return it to us. We are forever grateful for this act of kindness. The location of the cabin is perfect, and we were able to get to all of the places we wanted to tour within 1-2 hours. Don't forget to check out Ouray and Ridgway (both fantastic little towns that have great food). In fact, we would recommend these two towns over Telluride if you are short on time. If you can't tell by now, we would definitely HIGHLY recommend this little Bunkhouse and our sweet host if you happen to find yourself in this part of Colorado. We really hope to make our way back to this amazing spot in the future!"

"If you love peace, calm, and serenity the. This is the place for you and your family. We loved it. Treated it as base camp.to.go see places and come back to a homey environment. Will come back. Host is outstanding. The history of this school.isngreat to learn. Overall great place!"

"This property was in pristine condition when we arrived. It is new and decorated beautifully. The kitchen essentials are all there and are very nice! This is one of the best places I’ve ever rented! It’s also pet friendly and the host was very responsive. I highly recommend this town house!"

"Very nice older property right near Gondola. No ac in rooms and windows shut so quite warm when we checked in. The hot tubs and pool were very nice. We had some plumbing issues. Probably a bit overpriced compared to some other properties nearby. We were attending the bluegrass festival and that was fantastic!"

"We were a party of ten adults traveling to the area for hiking and fishing activities. This was an excellent property far from the city life. Lots of deer and other wildlife. Easy access to Groundhog Lake for fishing and extensive hiking opportunities. We enjoyed our stay!"
