"Amazing stay!"

"We stay here often, our go to hotel in Stafford"

"Excellent location"

"The location was great. The staff were pleasant. Breakfast was fine. The shower head would not stay in place. The light over the shaving mirror did not work. We reported the above 2 defects in our first day and they were not fixed by the time we left after 3 days."

"Staff were helpful, pleasant and friendly. Clean room and good breakfast."

"Amazing hotel full of charm. Beautiful room. Amazing food. Would definitely stay here again and would look out for other hotels in this group. Bravo! Great experience from a seasoned traveller!!"

"Although there was work going on, it didn't notice inside the hotel. The food was lovely and we were very well looked after"

"Great pub hotel, delicious food and spacious rooms. Dog friendly, which is a bonus. Worth noting that it is not suitable for anyone who needs accessible rooms."

"Overall a nice stay but the rooms needed a good clean and some simple renovation. The bed frame/fabric base was all stained, the floor was stained and the window latches all broken so the window was either wide open or shut. A couple of £1 hinges would fix it. Spiders in the shower in both rooms. The staff were great, parking easy, bar was nice. Just needs some simple tlc"

"Only stayed one night. Very clean and tidy. breakfast was good"

"Clean and tidy"

"We planned an overnight stay here, having visited the hotel a little while back for Afternoon Tea, and the hotel met our expectations. The staff were friendly and welcoming and whilst we didn’t use many of the facilities, everything we saw looked fine. The one aspect that we would like to have seen was air conditioning in the rooms, as the room became very warm at night. The breakfast buffet was ideal for us."

"Only stayed one night passing through. Booked a premium room which was clean and modern definitely worth the extra. Breakfast was great would stay again"

"The fridge did not work, the door frame had been forced open and not repaired corre try. Overall the hotel looks tired and needs a refurbishing."
