"Had a great stay and would go there again without a doubt. Nice staff and a very nicely remodeled property both inside and out. When some places paint the walls, they say they have remodeled, but Equus really put forth some effort and money in their remodeling. Sliding glass shower doors, modern sinks, a very comfortable bed, and a beautiful courtyard. My wife and I have not seen an older hotel that this much time and effort was made in the remodeling. We will stay there again if we pass through this way."

"The front desk clerk Jodi was amazing and so accommodating. The units were very comfortable. You enter to find a full size bed or full size bunkbeds with a floor lamp and a mini fridge. Next is a large bathroom to the right and a sink, mirror and coffee maker to the left. Then you walk into a room with a kingsize bed and TV with a big picture window. Last step onto the large balcony with two chairs overlooking the pool and beach/oceanside."

"Was a little disappointed in the fact that they did not have a breakfast served tried going to the bar dining area. They did not know how to make a dirty martini. I got no olives and they had no milk in the little food place so that my husband could at least have cereal in the morning before his nine games that he played for three days there. Other than that it was good."

"The hotel itself is beautiful. The lobby, pool and grounds were all very nice and felt like a resort. The room however, was a typical Daytona Beach room, old and dated with basic decor and bedding. The bathroom had sand in it so clearly was not cleaned prior to our arrival. There was also sand in the bathtub. Also, for some reason our room never got cleaned the four days we were there. We had to go and get clean towels off of the cart. Parking is $50 per day for valet or $35 per day if you self-park across the street. They also do not tell you that if you prepay that parking and then leave the lot, they do not have to save a spot for you. So, if you come back and they are full you have to find parking elsewhere and then request a refund. We were there for Biketoberfest so parking is a premium and we specifically got there a day early to ensure we had parking set up etc. We had a motorcycle and a truck, so we paid $20 per day at the hotel for the bike and $35 per day for the self-park lot for the truck not including fees, tax etc. Overall, we had a great time, and I would recommend this hotel for the grounds and location. You can't beat the location for Main Street. The beach was also nice, and the boardwalk has things to do nearby, I would stay here again."
