"We enjoyed our one-night stay at the Lodge during off season. The lodge is set up like a motel so we had the advantages of parking and sitting outside our door. The room itself was quite large, and beds and bathroom were recently updated. We appreciated the lodge's efforts to support the environment: water bottles that were aluminum not plastic, ceramic coffee cups not styrofoam. The only meal we ate at the restaurant was breakfast, which was economical and very good. Following the advice of previous reviews, we ordered the corn pancake and one was large enough for the two of us."

"We booked this hotel at late notice and we're concerned about some of the feedback previously given .Our concerns were unfounded and the hotel was absolutely fine and we could book for one night as opposed to a minimum of two for others hotels in the vicinity. The wheelchair accessible bathroom was also very well laid out."

"This was a great place to stay on our Arizona visit. The whole property is clean and well maintained, but the best part was "Tink". She ran the bar and the kitchen (and I do mean ran - she was the only one on the nights we were there) and she made us feel welcomed and comfortable. She made time for every guest and no matter what was ordered she always said, " I'll get that started for you right away." The grounds have a pool table (under cover of shade) a bocci court, a fire pit, and plenty of seating. The breakfast buffet was varied and hot. There is even a self serve laundry area that was most convenient. The staff was most helpful with directions and recommendations. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who is thinking about visiting Winslow, Arizona!"
