There is a beautiful courtyard area with flower tubs and a lovey mature tree in the centre to get shade. The seating was also very good. "This hotel is as wonderful as they say. Absolutely beautiful. The restaurant is delicious and has the best coffee. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. I cannot say enough good. We stayed here for 1 night, pre cruise out of Southampton. It was only a 30 minute taxi ride to port. Romsey is a small (1,000 people) town, the prettiest little English town you'll ever see. I wish we could have stayed longer. Not touristy and easy to navigate. One of those "out of the way" " off the beaten path" places I love to find. We are from Canada and I found this place on Expedia. You will not be disappointed. It's fabulous. "

"Great location, easy to walk around Salisbury. Parking in road was chargeable during day. Good advice from reception. Breakfast was decent. Showers were great. Rooms a bit squashed into an old building. So plenty of steps and a maze of corridors! Overall really good."
