"I needed a place close to the ferry terminal and I was pleasantly surprised. The grounds were amazing, everything was super clean and comfortable. I have already recommended this hotel to a couple of other people. I will stay here again!"

"Clean & comfortable bed. Bathroom outdated but clean. Air conditioner worked great and kept the room cool while it was +30c outside. As mentioned in other reviews, visible homelessness in the area however they didn’t loiter about the hotel property and didn’t cause us any problem. It’s a good place to stay for the night if you’re passing through and need something economical."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The room was tastefully updated, clean and comfortable. It had everything we needed in the kitchen, the bed was comfortable and it was spacious for my wife and me. The shared outdoor space was immaculate and we enjoyed a morning of swimming off the docks and reading in the hammocks. The climate control in the room worked efficiently and quietly. "there is no staff there so you are on your own - but that is ok - it is a very small place - old but totally updated inside no extra emenities at all on the outside (ice etc) the stairs to the top floor are not the best but if you are fit, they work!! Booking was great with Expedia but the hotel itself says you need to fill out a form and give 2 pieces if ID? which is not true!! for the money it was worth it"

"The bedding had poop and blood stains and the brown girl at the desk double charged me. They don’t provide breakfast other then juice and coffee and yogurt and the rooms are dated and musty. I grew up in Duncan and moved to Ontario and travel for work but the standard this place had put the bar in hell and you have to limbo under it. 10/10 do not recommend."

"Great property because it's clean and large rooms (I did get 2 queen bedroom). Fairly close to harbor front. Breakfast was decent with eggs/cheese and sausages and the usual waffles, breads and cereals. I wish they had a hot tub and pool. It wasn't worth paying for balcony as there wasn't a good view. It's good for smokers I guess. I liked they had safe and iron in the room, fridge, and sink. I didn't like that the water didn't get hot and that we had to ask for towel replacement...
