"We missed our first night due to being stranded by fog on the Isles of Scilly. So our stay wasn’t as long as we had hoped. I called ahead and, while understandable, it was unfortunate that we couldn’t get compensation for the night we missed given they managed to rent the room to someone else. Also, and this is not a criticism of this particular property., just a general comment fir all. Having bus and train schedules available would be brilliant. Thank you and we will certainly recommend...

"Our stay at The Ivy House was a wonderful experience. The bed was super comfortable & everywhere has full marks for cleanliness. Breakfast was locally sourced, fresh & hot. The owners were very friendly & welcoming. Would definitely recommend. "

"I felt like visiting family. Lorne House and the hosts Bob and Liz have really created that aura 'home away from home'. The cozy and warm room, the welcoming and personal service, the fresh and delicious breakfast, the small but informative chats, and much more. It was an amazing experience. I highly recommend this home (not a house) for any couple who would like to stay in Bath for 3-4 nights. Thank you, Bob and Liz! "

Though nestled in a peaceful, quiet area, it's still just a 10-minute drive to convenient shopping options like Sainsbury's or Tesco Superstore. " The owner stated pizza and bar would be available but they were jot. In addition there was a lot of building work happening during our stay which ruined the tranquil surroundings."

"Really enjoyed our short stay here. Lovely room with an adjoining small room with writing table and chair. It does have about six wooden stairs inside the bedroom door which would not be suitable for some. The choice of breakfast items was really good many different cereals, cheeses ham and fruit. Owner very nice."

"Interesting experience! Great location and value for Central Bath - both the room and parking. Would have given more stars except for these niggles: Tried to book parking in advance and as other reviews say got nowhere… On arrival we were early for check-in but called the mobile number provided at the hotel, arranged parking and room key so all ok (we thought…) , then a slight hiccup getting in at end of our evening but was quickly sorted when I messaged and was sent a very helpful video!...

"We were a family group of 12 meeting up to celebrate a special birthday. The house which was very spacious was beautifully furnished and the large kitchen equipped with everything we needed. The bedrooms were large & very comfortable. The garden was lovely & plenty of outdoor seating. I would recommend this house for a large family gathering "

"It was one of the most breath taking country places to stay. To wake up and see this amazing view, so quiet and peaceful. We stayed for 3 nights and and ate breakfast and evening meals there as we wanted to make the most of the tranquil experience. A little tricky navigating the tiny roads at times but all part of the fun. The Shed is a lovely cost place to stay. "

"Hampton is located off the city center main street, so the neighborhood is very quiet and very accessible. Although our arrival was not very welcoming and accommodating (first shirt front lady - the second shift ladies made our stay incredibly pleasant. "

"A business trip, so didn’t actually as much time in the hotel as I’d have liked in order to explore it. But the breakfast experience and interactions with the staff were all really good. Very comfortable room, surprised there were no USB sockets - but that tiny detail aside - very happy. The parking option is ideal. Located right next to a multi-level car park, once you register your car at check-in, the access to come and go is automatic, no faffing around and there’s access from the car park directly to the hotel, so no lugging bags through inclement weather. The pricing for this hotel is generally above what I pay for work trips, and in this case I’d cashed some point to get a better price. Will be giving it serious consideration next time I’m in Bristol."
