"This was truly an “Pub with and Inn” experience. The Cat in the Custard is the hub of this small Cotswold village, so we felt like travelers in time. Our room was in the eaves and very tiny so we moved to a larger one - both were lovely. The food is very good, and the breakfast hot and plentiful. "

"We had a very lovely twin room. The room contained every facility you could wish for, and some. The food in the restaurant (including breakfast) was superb and the service throughout the hotel was second to none. Wanted to bring my husband next time for his birthday but the date is limited to a two night stay so very disappointed that this time, I can’t. "

"A nice stay when in the area. The food is good, as are the team. I did hear some locals moaning about both, however that isn't my experience at all. The rooms are good, I had a different room this time and it's probably due for some tlc, however it was serviceable and the bed was comfy etc. The Bowl has a nice feel in a lovely location - it was a stunning evening to sit outside and dine whilst reading a book - with the bell ringing practise starting in the evening. "It was one of the most breath taking country places to stay. To wake up and see this amazing view, so quiet and peaceful. We stayed for 3 nights and and ate breakfast and evening meals there as we wanted to make the most of the tranquil experience. A little tricky navigating the tiny roads at times but all part of the fun. The Shed is a lovely cost place to stay. "
