The hotel swimming pool is heated with the same thermal waters - so you can have the same experience as in other paid Spas in Rotorua (but for free!) The room was spacious, well furnished. Had a good coffee maker machine as well. Nice bed, good friendly staff. Lots of free parking space available. Overall, very happy with the hotel. "

"Great central city location. We loved the pool and spa. Cleanliness could have been a bit better as the room seemed in need of a more deep clean ie. under beds, bathroom mirror, bathroom tiles. Guest in the room above us kept us awake with loud stomping for hours on one of the nights. One lift was out of order but there were two others. Well equiped kitchen but would have been nice to have a few more utensils etc and a tea towel to be able to use it properly. On-site parking is $40 valet only,...

"We were taken aback by how large the villa was - The living/bedroom was massive, and the bathroom area was the size of a living room. I would recommend Formosa for couples wanting to get married. The size of the villa is more than sufficient to accommodate a wedding crew (make up artist, hair stylist, etc). The only downside for me was the insects - Being next to the golf course, you will see insects. We saw many mosquitoes during our stay there. If you don't like insects, I would recommend...
