"This is a delightful place. The staff is wonderful. The building is charming"

"We were here for a wedding. Everything ran like clockwork and the staff couldn't have been more helpful. One word of warning, if you have mobility issues make sure you are on a floor serviced by a lift"

"We stayed one night as a stopover on our way home to Scotland. We had a superior double room in the lodge part of the hotel. Stunning room. Very spacious even with what looked like a super king bed. Lovely to have the little terrace space. Had a delicious meal in the restaurant and excellent breakfast in the morning. "Clean Room. Staff Good.Breakfast Good. Bar Good. Food Good."

"Lovely and clean, nice hosts and very good location"

"Stay spoiled by very loud neighbours from 6:30am. Suppose that is. Ot the hotels fault but the walls are paper thin"

"Great location, but not the cleanest of hotels. Hotel corridors smelt fusty and the hotel could really do with updating. Didn’t use the hotel restaurant or bar so can’t comment. Staff were polite enough but on check in one staff member was heard discussing things he really shouldn’t have been discussing in a public place whilst at work. Unfortunately I wouldn’t return and wouldn’t recommend"

"great stay as usual."

"Worst bed ever"
