"The place was much better than I was expecting. Staff was good and place was clean, well maintained, and comfortable. Breakfast could have used a few more options, especially something with protein. Otherwise, we were very happy with the place."

"This is a historic building, so you should not expect a bunch of modern hotel amenities. But our room was clean and comfortable. The bed was comfy and the water pressure was fantastic. Just be aware to not keep valuables in your vehicle. Someone did try and take our kayak off the car during the day. It is close to restaurants, across from the Eureka theater, walking dustance to Old Town and the Bay. I would recommend for anyone looking for a good central location in Eureka. "

"I love this, it is very unique and like a tropical paradise. Very clean, I even saw them turning out a room to clean it. Quiet sleep. Very nice full breakfast, scrambled eggs, waffles and pancakes, sweet rolls, and home fries etc, the only thing missing was biscuits and gravy. I highly recommend it. Very easy to get to and a few blocks to the ocean on highway 101."
