"Many homes in this area (safe but not VERY safe) are old duplexes that were skinny accommodations on either side of a center wall. "Shotguns" they were called. The owners of this building took out the center wall and made a spacious, comfortable home-away-from-home for anyone wanting to be out of the madness of New Orleans' French Quarter. Don't miss Nolita bakery just a few blocks up the street! "
