Ocean Star Inn

"First of all, this a motel, and having "Inn" in their name is very misleading. We were given what we believe is the worst located room on the property: every guest who checked in could see directly into the extent of our room by standing at the front desk. We heard tons of foot traffic and hallway conversations of every guest that checked in or walked by. And the curtains on our "window" opened to a giant hedge just 2 feet from the glass, so there was absolutely no view at all. We were traveling with our toddler, so we aren't sure why we were given a room directly at the entrance so his crying could distrub other guests? I'm sure this won't be everyone's experience though. Other than the breakfast, there's basically no amenities. Breakfast was decent for a motel, though the dining room was so small that it filled quickly and we just ate in our room. The room was clean, but there were signs of poor repairs done around the room like mismatched baseboards. The garbage bags were too small for the trash can and we had diapers to dispose of. This isn't a property for young families. If you just need a place to sleep then this place will be fine and the location isn't bad."

"This is a hidden gem... highly recommend a visit while on the Olympic peninsula. History and dining nearby in Port Townsend... national park access within an hour... a short drive from Bremerton if you use the ferry."

"I was very impressed with the overall experience staying at the Manresa Castle. The room was spacious with a great view, and the decor makes you feel like you're back in the 1800s. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. I would definitely recommend the Manresa Castle as a destination for anyone visiting Port Townsend."

"View was amazing, cleanliness was not that great, from coffee sopills on floor ,something on the comforter. Plus some greasy finger prints on bathroom door. Staff was amazing also. Still a 5* place "

"The rooms were really nice and updated despite how old the hotel is. The location is great and walking distance from several restaurants and breweries. Loved our view of the beach from our balcony, we saw a lot of ocean life while sitting on our balcony. It was also fun to be able to walk down to the beach anytime we felt like."
