"Wir haben uns in der Unterkunft jederzeit sehr wohl gefühlt. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und zahlreiche Restaurants sind gut zu Fuß zu erreichen. Mit dem Auto kann man von hier aus zahlreiche Traumschleifen (ausgezeichnete Wanderwege) ansteuern. Frau Scholtes hat uns freundlich empfangen und kümmert sich rührig um das Wohl ihrer Gäste. Wir kommen gerne wieder zurück."

Der liebevoll zusammengestellte Ordner mit allen Erklärungen für die Wohnung und Tipps für die Umgebung (Wanderungen, Ausflugszielen und den nächsten Einkaufsmöglichkeiten) - einfach top! "We have arrived at the location and the host welcomed us and showed us the property and explained everything needed. The apartment is cosy and easily suits a family with two children as there are three bedrooms ensuring plenty of privacy. The bathroom is modern as the entire apartment and the kitchen is fully equipped. Parking on the street is no problem. Fully recommend to stay here."

"We stayed at Leiwen for 6 days and had a fantastic time. It is a quaint, little German town on the Mosel. We walked everywhere in the town: information center, bakery, grocery, pubs, and restaurants. Took a bus to Treir, Mosel river cruise to Berncastle, car trip to Berg Eltz castle. The cottage was much more than we imagined. It had a very comfortable living area with back yard and patio."

"The process from beginning to end was outstanding. Tanja was thoughtful and welcoming and made sure we were prepared for our time in Trier. The views of the town from the well-appointed deck and apartment were among the best I’d ever experienced. Groceries and public transportation are in ready reach and allowed for exploration of the ancient history of the region. Overall, an outstanding experience."

"We thought we were going to stay in Losheim, but instead, our FeWo was in Scheiden, a town 5 km. away. Once we got used to having to drive to Losheim for our groceries, it was OK. The apartment was spacious and we were quite comfortable there. The area was very rural, with bike and walking paths throughout. One could actually see the night sky from the bathroom skylight! It was easy to get to neighboring towns, such as Mettlach and Trier, from where we were. Our hosts were friendly and helpful."

"A lovely, well-equipped house in a stunning location with its own fabulous garden. Brilliant for our family group of 10. Lots to do locally. The gem museum, gem mine, Celtic settlement were great trips and the open-air swimming pool in Rhaunen was much enjoyed. We visited Herrstein twice! Klaus and Anna were really helpful hosts. Highly recommended."
