"Stayed in Japanese Traditional Room with Private Open Air Bath. The pictures on Expedia are a true representation of the accommodation but the stay was even better than anticipated. Kaiseki meal in private dining room was wonderful and showcased a lot of the local food. The tatami room and sitting area in the room was nice and relaxing and the futons were perfectly set by the time we returned after dinner. The balcony onsen was a lovely warm contrast to the chilly wintry air. The public baths were also very clean and had a variety of temperatures for both inside and outside. Very close walk to the temple and Hell Valley. Included breakfast was also very delicious with impeccable service. Sad to have only stayed one night!"

It was a fantastic location, for early train departures. Bus to Noboritbetsu Onsen outside the train station. I especially liked all the tourist information they made available for guests, not just about the area but also of Hokkaido. "
