"We expected a balcony but didn't have one and hotel was full so couldn't change room. Room very small. There wasn't any details in the room about information of the hotel. Service at the bar was slow, however prices very reasonable. We were shocked at the litter and dog mess surrounding the Parador hotel and castle. On walking down to Jaen town - the route was quite disgusting! We stayed three nights and understand know why most people stay one night."

"I stayed two nights at this hotel. The location is fairly central and I found it easy to park. The reception staff were friendly. The room was clean. The problem was that there was no breakfast (despite what it syas on the website). I was there on a sunday morning and a monday bank holiday morning, so it was not easy to find anywhere open early for breakfast. There was a kettle in my room and a single, rather aged looking green tea bag."

"The hotel is surrounded by nature and ideal for people who enjoy peace and quiet. Also ideal for those travelling with pets. The restaurant serves good food and hotel staff where very friendly. Our room was clean and had comfy beds. On-site parking available. Only downside was an 'occasional' stench in the room from the drains."

"This was an unusual place to stay overnight on our way further South in Spain. The location was accurately given by both Google Maps and Waze. You have to trust them as the approach looks a bit unlikely as you get nearer. May be tricky if arriving in the dark. We were a bit nervous about the entry process using links on our phones but it was all very easy in practice. Just be sure to have mobile signal & power in your battery. We had the place to ourselves so it felt like staying in a huge...

"Ubicación muy céntrica , cerca de todo"

"Old style Mediterranean, has seen better days but ideal for the purpose... In its former glory, likely very posh, but time and economics change all things. still a cool place, very busy every night - hotel feels pre war era -"

"Great hotel,nice people etc"

"We just stopped here for 1 night passing through. It was ok, shame the restaurant was closed after a long drive."

"Clean and comfortable with stunning views from the terrazas. But sharing one bathroom with three other rooms was inconvenient."
