"Beautiful location just 15mins from Pisa and 40mins the coast. Villa was in an beautiful location. But only 10 mins walk to village where restaurants are. Supermarket only 5 mins drive. Villa itself was very spacious and clean. Had all facilities that though worked needed updating. Maybe more fans needed as it was unusually warm. The pool was perfect and the boys loved. WiFi was not great but this was not a big deal for me as it was for the others."

"The house is very spacious Just like the garden. We had to share the pool which we didn't know but that turbed out okay. The cutlery and crockery weren 't very clean maybe because the dishwasher didn't work properly. The host / property manager on the other hand was great and helpen us a lot with everything. "First of all a tip of the hat to Tommaso, our host. He is really on the ball, you ask him something and almost immediately he responds or drops by to see what's up. The Villa Nerino has 5 bedrooms, each with a very nicely appointed bath. I recommended to him that he install safety bars in the baths (I am disabled). "The house is as described. It is one half of a house, that is rented as well, so there can be other people around. A downside is that the house is up a steep hill. The road is small and needs some courage, but is totally do-able. We mostly drove by car instead of walking up and down. An upside is the cute neighbours cat, which visites occasionally. The landlady is very kind and even asked during the stay if everything is alright. All in all a great stay 👍"

"Absolutely beautiful property in a beautiful location within three minutes walk of a wonderful old and charming town with great restaurants and some nice markets. Also air conditioned, which for most Americans (like us) is not a luxury but a must, though it didn't work in one bedroom and the study, which just meant one of us slept downstairs. Pool was nice. "The house corresponds exactly to the description, it is old, in an early 1900s style, and very romantic. Sitting under the trees in the garden with a cold drink is unbeatable. For larger groups, the second bathroom might be a bit small."

"This was the perfect experience. The house, which we found out had only become available this year for rentals, was wonderful. It was comfortably and stylishly furnished and had everything we needed. The only thing missing was an induction compatible coffee maker - which the gracious property owner hand-delivered to us! Clean chalet, friendly & helpful staff, shop/cafe/restaurant on site. Kitchen area equipped with basics for cooking, there is no kettle,toaster, oven or microwave - just a 4 ringed gas hob which i feel could be improved more. Lots of mosquitos so ensure you pack repellant. Towels to hire. Good quality supermarket 10min walk away. I would definitely stay here...
