"We had a great one-night stay with a toddler! We used to come to Niagara-on-the-Lake all the time before having a baby and decided to do a little family getaway around Canada Day. We chose this hotel because it seemed quieter and better suited to families than staying in the historic district of NOTL. We were very pleased with this decision- parking was easy and free, our room was spacious, and it was easy to do meals at the hotel with the kitchen and full fridge. Breakfast was delicious, with lots of offerings (including gluten free toast), and a definite bonus for us! We were close to other attractions, such as the butterfly conservatory, as well as shopping at the outlets. Everything we wanted to do was within a 20-minute drive, which was perfect and made us feel like we were still part of the action. Overall, excellent value for a great stay. "

The location is unbeatable—right in the heart of everything! We were able to walk to restaurants, shops, and major attractions, which made our trip so much more enjoyable and stress-free. "This is slightly upscale hotel in the Niagara-on-the-Lake area. It is close the NOTL for the SHAW festival. It is also close to many vineyards. The staff were friendly and the room was modern and clean. There were a few noisy children one evening at about 9:30 p.m. in the hallway. I gently spoke to them, and they went back to their appropriate rooms. I did not have to speak to the hotel management."

"The Shaw Club is a wonderful place to stay. It is conveniently located across the street from the Shaw Festival Theatre. It’s an easy walk to Fort George as well as lots of shopping dining. The wineries are only a few minutes drive away or you can take a shuttle. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They also clean the rooms daily unlike many hotels that do not. Uniquely, they have small aquariums of beta fish that you can take to your room if you would like a little pet during your stay. “Fin Diesel” was my favorite. Parking is very easy. They have their own lot in the back. It is free and convenient. Parking is a premium at Niagara-on-the-Lake so this is a big plus. The town is walkable so we never had to use our car during our stay. The Shaw has rooms in the main building and also in a side building above a restaurant. We stayed in the side building and it was very quiet and pleasant. Highly recommend. "
