"Really nice place. Clean and functional. Nicely decorated. In fact the only slight downside was the ‘eggs’ at breakfast. I’m not sure they ever saw a chicken - really could do better and let down everything else. Anyway, would stay again for sure."

"We had a lovely weekend at this hotel and spa and overall really enjoyed our stay. The amenities were very good and provided everything we needed for a relaxing break. The staff were excellent throughout—friendly, attentive and welcoming, which really added to the experience. The location was also a highlight. The nearby village was lovely to explore, and there was a nice little walk close by, which was perfect for getting out and enjoying the surroundings. The only real disappointment was the food. Unfortunately, it didn’t quite live up to the rest of the experience and did let the weekend down a little. With a better dining experience, this would have been a fantastic stay from start to finish. Overall, though, we had a very enjoyable and relaxing weekend and would happily consider returning."

"It's a busy venue, with a large amount of upsell, parking at a fee, spa at a fee etc.etc. Rooms very clean, spacious and had good WiFi. There was a good vibe at the hotel bar if that is your thing."

"This is clearly an old hotel under transformation. Pictures from their website are reflective of the effort in refurbishing this old building into a modern hotel - it feels great but isn't finished yet which means some areas such as corridors have builders dust and no carpets, but bedroom was nicely refurbished and the lounge / bar and dining areas are welcoming. Friendly staff and when things weren't quite right, were quick to take ownership and make the appropriate correction."
