Interior Dining room for 6 (8 counting bar seating) and exterior lounge seating for 6-8, picnic table for 6 and hot tub for 6! Covered Parking available for 1 vehicle on property. Perfect distance between the Ferry to the beach and Marine Avenue where you will find great shops, bars and restaurants island style!

Cozy Mariners cottage, well equipped kitchen, gas fireplace, tastefully furnished -1/2 block from Ocean in quiet neighborhood & 6 blocks from Balboa Island shops & restaurants! We had a wonderful quiet stay. Very fun island to stay on and we were able to take day trips to Laguna and Dana Point while here. Very convenient and nice and peaceful area. Host was wonderful and called to make sure our check in went smoothly. We’d definitely entertain staying again if it’s available.

We loved our stay at Mariner’s Cottage! We live locally and book stays on Balboa Island for staycations. We have booked more than 10 rentals of all different sizes on the island over the past 5 years and this was by far the best. Best location, best interiors, best amenities, best hosts. This Balboa Island cottage is such a gem. Located within a block of the water and a short stroll to the main street shops/restaurants and the ferry, we didn’t need the car at all. Everything was clean, tidy and well presented. The hot tub and firepit sitting area outside were such a treat. We would definitely stay here again.
