"Nisbet is on a former sugar plantation and buttresses the Atlantic. The grounds and rooms are well-maintained. It’s very laid back, an older crowd, except for the lively Thursday night barbecue on the beach. Outsiders come to Nisbet and live music is offered. Dinner food is fair, although quite good at the barbecue. Breakfast and lunch are pretty good, but with limited menus. Overall, a very relaxing vacation, but it is best to go off grounds for other experiences and restaurants."

"Had a lovely stay. I was able to relax, reflect, release, and appreciate some personal time. I loved the screened-in porch (fabulous for days when it rains); David gave a FANTASTIC massage; Chef Ricky served a tasty chicken roti (the rum punch was DELICIOUS); the staff was kind and welcoming. The property isn't modern, but it meets your needs. If you want granite and luxury, stay elsewhere. This is truly quaint and familiar. I felt safe, respected, and a part of the family. "This is an excellent property. Room was large with all appliances including washer and dryer. It’s basically a fully furnished studio apartment that opens directly to the pool. Very quiet and relaxing with courteous staff that serviced the room daily. Large toilet and bathroom. Although my visit was work related, I was able to take the 15 minutes walk down to Frigate Bay everyday during the stay, many restaurants on the way."
