Orcas Beach Oasis Bungalow

This secluded, one bedroom bungalow is centrally located in Rockaway Beach. It is one block away from the beach, boardwalk and with in walking distance to delis, Whit's End and other local favorite restaurants. The subway is just two blocks away and the ferry to downtown Manhattan is just 8 blocks away. Everything is newly renovated with full bath tub, brand new appliances and granite counter tops in the kitchen. There is plenty of surfboard storage and an outside shower to rinse off.

This bungalow was nothing but perfect - cozy, welcoming and central. So close to the beach and local spots, would absolutely stay again!

Melissa was such a joy to rent from - she was incredibly responsive and attentive to my questions and requests. Her bungalow is decorated beautifully - it is almost like a perfect beach-themed showroom. At first I was unsure of the location, but after staying there I saw that it is an ideal neighborhood a few blocks from police and fire department and it is across the street from a lovely Italian market and not too far from an enormous key food. The kitchen is well stocked with dish and cookware and it really felt comfortable. One evening we sat at the table outside and enjoyed the most delicious pizza from a place down the street. There is an outdoor shower which is useful as well. I very much recommend renting from Melissa!

Stayed here to do some relaxing, reading, writing, and spending time on the beach - perfect getaway for someone looking to get out of the city.

This location was exactly as described! Very cute and bright and in a wonderful location. Melissa is awesome and completely responsive. Will stay again!
