Relax And Enjoy Waterfront Views of Cavendish Sand Dunes

There is always activity on the waters surrounding the community from the mussel fishing boats tending their crop, to ospreys and bald eagles searching for fish. The bay and dunes are a favorite spot for recreational boating, seadooing, parasailing, kayaking, and fishing.

Sit on the large patio and enjoy the views or take a walk down the custom stairs leading to the shore. Spend hours beach combing for sea glass and other treasure. This property offers paddle boards and kayaks for guests to use and spend hours exploring the water’s edge. The community also offers a pool to relax and a small golf course for you to enjoy.

Very well equipped, clean, welcoming and comfortable space with gorgeous views from both front and back. Having access to the pool and games room made for a good time with our three teenagers.

Decent Stay for a Short Family Getaway

We stayed here with our family for a few days and found it to be a convenient spot for a quick trip. The location is great, close to Cavendish, and the cottage had the basics we needed. It was clean and generally comfortable, though a few areas could use some updates or a little extra attention.One tip: we recommend parking on the side of the house. Since it’s directly across from the golf course, we came across several stray golf balls on the property.All in all, it was a decent stay; not amazing, but it served its purpose for a short family break.

Wonderful location - close to Stanley Bridge and Cavendish. Important to know that a bunkie means that beds are located in a separate building not connected to the main house. Bunkie quarters are very tight and do not have A/C - we were travelling during a heat wave so even with fans and the cross breeze at night, it was just too hot to sleep in. Cottage is well equipped but quite dated. Very quaint neighbourhood with some just ok amenities - golf is just ok, pool isn’t heated. Stairs off the cliff take you to a rocky red beach that is fun to walk along in the morning or early evening. Watch for foxes and birds! Throughout our stay we discovered the information in the guest house book was insufficient, outdated or not accurate. The cottage is cozy but we probably would choose another rental if we return.
