"My guy & I decided that this was the perfect stay for us: I wanted a B&B but he doesn't like 'staying in a bedroom in someone's house'. We had our own large cottage that has a wonderful, quirky vibe & breakfast that you pick up on a large tray & bring back to your cottage! It is located on bend in the Missouri River & the view is breathtaking. It was the perfect location, too, halfway between the river town of Washington & Hermann in wine country, both fun places to visit."

"Breakfast was amazing. Rooms? Ok."

"Room clean. Ni cold water. No staff and not available on phone"

"The cleanliness and comfort were above what we were expecting for a "budget" priced stay. Although the property is older and a little worn, everything (even the corners) was clean and it looks like the owners/managers take pride in running a good hotel. Desk staff was especially friendly and helpful. If you need an affordable place to sleep in a good bed, this is the spot."

"Loved this property! Beds were so comfortable, large walk-in shower and decor was amazing!"

"Excellent"

"Staying at Stone Haus was like visiting a distant relative. The owners were friendly and inviting. Their dog Mandy was also friendly. The place was filled with various antique pieces and paintings. It made us feel right at home. The breakfast we were served could have fed twice as many people. We did not use the hot tub though it was offered to us. Its location offered a quiet neighborhood and lovely scenery. It truly felt like home. the experience was lovely."

"Excellent breakfast"

"The staff was super friendly. It was an excellent experience all the way around."

"The room had a floral perfume like smell to it which causes me migraines. There was no mirror in the bathroom which was weird. Hard to figure out how to do my hair. Only one mirror in the whole room and it was in a poorly lit area. The curtains didn't hang right do it let the light from the outside lights in the room. The breakfast was some of the worst I have had in a hotel. There were holes in the duvet and you didn't have a decent blanket to use for a cover. The water on our second...

"With the virtual staff, I was able to easily access my room. Room was very contemporary and comfortable. The only issue was very noisy neighbors who partied late into the night."

"The cottages were very nice and clean. The area was very quiet and quaint. My wife and I felt like we were back in Germany. The free sampling coupons to the wine tasting and bourbon tasting were a big savings. The air conditioning was spot on! I will stay here again! Hermann is a beautiful part of Missouri! The views were breathtaking of the land, hills and the Missouri River!!"

"Awesome breakfast. Super clean for motel. Would stay anytime. Great price and clean"

"Our host mentioned he does not receive messages from Expedia postings. So if you are not receiving check-in information, you might want to find another way to contact them. The property is lovely. The Treehouse was perfect for my granddaughter and me."

"Clean and quiet. What’s not to like"

"We loved this place- very unique! Clean and great communication from hosts."
