"This is a beautiful, serene, quiet location with the nicest staff, gorgeous beach and the special tasting menu at their restaurant upstairs was such a treat. It's a little remote from some of the touristy things but most of what we did was within 30 min or less of a gorgeous, scenic drive. Most of the guests were 40+ and up. Younger guests will still enjoy it but it's not a "rockin" scene if that's what you're hoping for."

"I see the potential in this hotel after the renovations are complete. Still some room for improvement for sure, and there were concerns with noise through the paper thin walls. Otherwise it is convenient and overall was a pleasant stay after I spoke with the front desk and all was rectified. Would stay again once renovations are finished."

"The good: Great location - walkable to everything downtown. Umbrellas available in the lobby, great hot breakfast included, interesting historical building. There is a full kitchen with everything you would need to prepare meals (we didn’t). The not so good: The second bedroom in the two-bedroom suite was pretty tight. The queen bed filled the room. We were four women sharing and I opted for the couch. The lobby is small and it always felt like we were bothering the person at the desk when we stopped with a question. Often there was nobody at the desk."

"Nice bright clean rooms. BBQ with tank was a nice surprise. Staff very helpful. Close walking distance to many other spots, especially the beaches & trails."

"Place was conveniently located near gas station, stores, restaurants. Staff was friendly and helpful. Very quiet for a hotel this big and busy. Mattresses were worn and saggy. Water pressure in shower was too low. Coffee In breakfast area was hot but not very tasty. Breakfast was the usual low budget fare. Okay for the money but mattresses should be replaced. Mini fridge made annoying noise."
