"Hotel and restaurant were good but the bedroom was so hot and unable to cool down, even if cool outside. Window didn’t open enough to allow a breeze in. Was told after checking out that we could have signed a waiver to all the window to open wider - not much use after the event. Could increase the opening from 2 to 4 inches to allow a fan in front of the window. Also get better fans and heat reflecting curtains to stop the warm air at source. Same heat issues in corridors"

"Stayed 2 nights in a deluxe room. As did our daughter and son in law. Both rooms were lovely. Clean, well equipped and comfortable. The hotel is in a great central location. We had room service for breakfast both mornings. Our daughter ate breakfast in the restaurant. Both were very nice. The only downside was that we couldn’t get the room cool enough during the heatwave but the hotel were quick in providing us with a fan to help. "The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was difficult to find as it was in a separate building from the reception. The room was loud as there were bars directly outside the room. The curtain had a burn mark in. The chair was wobbly. The shower door did not shut properly. The tap spurted out water as soon as you turned it on.
