"After difficulty finding and getting to the barge. (I’d recommend contacting owners - you often need a code for locked gates to get quai side - they don’t give you this information so you need to request it) we found the setting beautiful. Loved the decor in the Art Deco room of the Barge. The hosts provide everything needed, even putting milk, butter and orange juice in the fridge on arrival which was a nice touch. "Nice American hotel. Area is a bit under developed and there are not many restaurants or grocery stores nearby, but it is within walking distance of the main train station. The location is not close to the city center despite the name of the hotel."

"2 weeks here! Very, very good. Kitchen amazingly well furnished, separate bedroom for one of us to sleep in. Comfy couch, 2 chairs for our friends, staying in another room here. Tram just outside, bridge view for the nightly light show, market of Les Halle’s de Bacalan 4 minute walk, grocery stores in 2 and 3 minutes, good restaurants, nice staff. GREAT!"
