"This is a historic building that has been updated with a few things. The decoration is period furniture that I loved. We had a room on the 3rd floor and the stairs are quite steep. Short walking distance to the Nauvoo temple."

"Roomy, clean. Conditions seem to vary some from room to room (viz. TV size, carpeting vs. hard floor). We were by the laundry, so staff & equipment got kind of noisy at times. Plan extra time to see all of Nauvoo! You'll not be board with 2 or 3 days. Dinner is only offered at the Nauvoo Hotel & lunch is not offered on Monday's at Grandpa John's Cafe, but it's nice for breakfast, lunch & ice cream.

Loved the church history and rich heritage/background of the area. Even if you’re not religious, this area played a key role in Pioneer expansion to early Western United States. Lovely area!
