"The Red Lion was a real surprise. The accommodation was a separate block in the car park. The rooms were excellent with a spacious sleeping area and a good size toilet with shower cubicle. The pub had lovely food and a good selection of beers etc. The owner and staff really make you feel welcome. We will definitely come back to stay here."

"Parking was plentiful room was spacious and comfortable and clean. Nice king bed. Restaurant had a good evening menu and a good breakfast menu . There was nothing I didn't like about our 3 night stay would definitely go back"

"Room was clean and the one member of staff that we saw was polite, friendly and efficient. You need to remember that this is a 200 year old listed building not a Travelodge !! Breakfast was good. Parking off road in front of hotel was limited but no issue for us"
