"The property is really nice. Excellent location you can walk everywhere. We have stayed at many of the the B&B’s there and most are not in walking distance of the downtown river area especially for older folks. The property itself is excellent. The staff very friendly. The happy hour pleasant red and white wine. Nice after a long drive in. Breakfast was a big disappointment. Not even close to a Hampton inn. Had the Grandkids and they only ate a muffin that looked like came from Sam’s. ‘Eggs’ were horrible. No staff was checking the area to make sure it was resupplied. Hope they get that addresses as we reservations there again in August."
"The property is in pretty good shape for the location and its age. A/C was okay but needed some better cleaning for the filters in the room. But the room has a good bed, decent wifi, and a good workspace. We enjoyed the breakfast -- wonderful, fresh-made gravy for delicious biscuits. Also, staff were very friendly."
"The bed and breakfast house was a nice older home. The breakfast was great. When we checked in and went to our room we found honey bees in it. We called the owner and he came and sprayed. We left for a few hours and when we got back we killed 20 or so more honey bees. The next day we went to town and came back that evening and killed about 10 more honey bees. Other than the honey bees everything was good."

10/10 Excellent
"Our group of four former feature writers (all of us now retired) have held yearly reunions for 30-plus years to gab, enjoy local cuisine and culture and reconnect in ways that Zoom and FaceTime just can’t equal. Members of our group live hither and yon, and we have visited cities all throughout the United States. I can say without question that our stay in Natchitoches was one of our best yet! Hosts Jami and Dennis were very responsive and handled our minor check-in hiccup immediately. The home was immaculate and checked every box in regard to comfort, amenities and closeness to many of the features that make Natchitoches special. The home provided us plenty of areas for relaxed conversation as well as privacy and individual quiet time whenever we needed it. Special thanks to Dennis for his graciousness and insights to life in Natchitoches that only a longtime local can tell! His recommendations were spot-on. Our only “regret” is we should have planned to stay longer!"
