"This new property was open just under 2 weeks, the night clerk was still learning how operate the computer, so even though our rooms were prepaid through orbitz, che k in still took 20 minutes. Both I and my guest (in the 2nd room) were asked to provide IDs, which is customary, but we were also both required to provide phone numbers and email addresses out loud, putting our personal data at risk of anyone listening from the lobby. Compounding this invasion of privacy, the American clerk found simple english words difficult to spell and my guest had to repeat the spelling of his email domain several times. After this, on the papers we both were required to sign, we were asked if we wanted the hotel to send us promotional material. Both selected no and were puzzled why we needed to provide all of our contact info. The rooms were equipped with full sized fridge with ice maker, and a 2 burner stove. The only elevator was very slow, takibg 10-15 seconds to pass each floor. This will be problematic once more guests use the hotel. "

"Siri's cabin is lovely, clean and quiet. The cabin is spacious. The beds are comfortable. We enjoyed sitting on the deck and on the porch. There is a bike/walking trail across the street that goes into Hibbing. Kitchen is well equipped and great for cooking in. There was even some unexpected food treats. We will definitely stay here again."

"We arrived, for our fifteenth anniversary, to swans swimming in front of the dock. We caught a couple bluegill and sunnies. We got to explore the lake quite a bit too! We watched deer on the shore, and two families of geese corraling their goslings. This was a perfect little get away, and the perfect spot for some R&R"
