Hot tub Cabin on Cedar Lake near Little Brown Church Newly Remodeled

A recent remodel to a beautiful open concept floor plan, you will walk just steps out the back door to Cedar Lake. Hate bugs? Imagine eating dinner and having drinks in the screened in porch while you watch the sun set over the lake. Take a relaxing soak in the always freshly filled hot tub. Lake Shore Park is 2 blocks up the street and includes a 1-mile walking trail, boat launch with a sand beach and gazebo overlooking the lake. We also have 2 kayaks,2 bicycles, a canoe, fire ring, laundry and a 52-inch television. Everything you will ever need, plus! The security of being in town with all the privacy of your own place and everything is included...no additional amenity charges! Nashua has The Dairy Treat has ice cream and sandwiches with new hours and there is a bar on Main Street and a Dollar General store . Charles City is 10 minutes drive North and has more shopping with a fun “Target” based surplus store, HyVee, Fareway, Theisens and Ace. The Pub on the Cedar restaurant, Salinas Bar(Excellent pizza and Sunday biscuits and gravy). Ionia is a little town to the east with the Hideaway Lounge that the reasonably priced food is raved about. Waverly is 20 minutes South and offers Walmart, HyVee, Goodwill and Trinkets and Togs (consignment shoppers!), Grumpies Roadhouse, Applebees, Sasquatch Jacks along with fast food options.

Nice place to stay for a visit to Nashua.

Cosy and clean place to stay while visiting Nashua. The weather didn’t cooperate, but the house has a good view of the lake and is close to a paved trail for walking, exploring or biking with little kids.

Cozy Place

Nice cozy place to stay with a beautiful view of the river. We love to gather by the fire pit area in the evening. We stay here when we come home to visit our family. Check in was perfect and our stay was fabulous.

We enjoyed being on the lake where the scenery was beautiful. We were particularly fond of the evening soaks in the hot tub. Perfect for a weekend getaway.

Great weekend!

Overall the stay was great. The sleeping arrangements are a little weird as the double futon is in the bedroom and the trundle beds are in the living room, but we made it work.

Quiet, Small Town Getaway

We had a wondeful time in this cozy, little house on the lake. Easy to get to, kayaks, canoe, bikes and gas grill available to us. Screened in porch was great for all our meals and beautiful view of the lake.

My husband and I came out for a little weekend getaway. The place was just what we needed. Quiet, clean, and with lovely views of the lake. The lake is very shallow, so if bringing a boat, be sure to do your research on the lake beforehand.

Quiet lake house for short getaway

We booked this place for a short weekend trip between busy summer activities. It’s in a quiet location right on Cedar Lake. The kitchen and carpet could use a little updating, but it was clean and has everything needed for a short stay. We spent most of the time sitting on the dock and screened in porch. We really enjoyed our stay!

Sharon was very accommodating for a very last minute trip. Cute, cozy house with a great view of the lake from the hot tub. Nice outdoor screened in porch- I could have drank coffee out there all day!

Perfect relaxing getaway.

This is the perfect place for a weekend trip. Enjoying meals from the screened in porch over looking the lake was wonderful. Relaxing in the hot tub looking up at the stars. Sitting by the fire at night or watching movies on the very comfortable sectional. Even caught some catfish right from the backyard. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay here and the host was very helpful and answered any questions we had very quickly.

What a lovely place to come to and relax after dropping our son off at Coe College. The owner went above and beyond to ensure we had the perfect stay: cozy, clean home, kitchen packed with all the things one needs for cooking, comfortable bed, incredible views of the lake-THE SUNSET! We would definitely come back!
