After accepting our offer to pay the asking price for our stay we never heard from the owner, or manager of the property. We were a little concerned, but we had heard many good things about booking with Vrbo. Once we got to the train station, some 7000miles from home, we attempted to contact the property manager. After waiting some time, we sent another massage; no reply. We then contacted Vrbo for some help, and they tried to reach the manager, also with no response. We were told that the property was not required to contact us until one hour before check in time. We were trapped in the train station for more than four hours, waiting for any word from the property, before the one hour before check in time limit was reached, so that we could finally make any plans.
I went on to Travelocity/Expedia to make alternative accommodations. The last minute reservations cost me a premium. Some hours later I got a message stating that my reservation was cancelled by the owner.
