"The apartment is in the old, rough heart of Naples; this review is written with that in mind. I loved the apartment itself (the entrance is dark/dingy) - it was modern, clean, felt secure, and was in a great location in the heart of centro storico – not a tourist-sanitized area, but full of loud, brash people living their lives outside of tiny apartments under drying laundry. "The public areas, reception, bar, restaurant etc are GORGEOUS and the staff, professional, helpful and friendly. We had 3 rooms..all in theory of the same grade but one, in particular, was much larger and with large balcony. In one roon, the overhead shower was unuseable but the hand held one fine. "When we walked from train station the streets have lots of rubbish and homeless people and lots of police. It’s like any big European city. Never felt bothered. Next to hotel there are street vendors. Hotel itself was nice, rooms were spacious, a bit of street noise. All the staff were friendly. The breakfast was good as well. "
