"This unique hotel includes several small mansions with about rooms each. These houses have distinctive contemporaary styles. Our room was spacious and elegant, but the structure showed some wear. Because the mansions are distributed along a small valley, you need to take a free shuttle to the main lobby and restaurant. The restaurant is really good, which is important because there are not many convenient dining options in the area. The hotel is connected to am amazing, but challenging hiking trail. Hiking to the Great Wall however is not possible although advertised, because wild boar 🐗 took over that area."
