"Overall enjoyed the stay at this resort. The room, location and staff were all great. The amenities are handy, the rooms are generally clean including the bedding and towels, the reef views and variety of activities available daily made it a great place to say. The only downside was the restaurant. And unfortunately this was a massive let down. It took a long time in the evening before staff would take an order for food & drinks. One night it took over 40 minutes for us to get a round of drinks ( a single bottle of wine with 2 glasses I ordered at the bar myself after not being able to flag down a staff member), the bar tender said they would bring it to the table so I waitedanother 15 minutes I returned back to the bar to get it myself. The whole process from ordering drinks and food to receiving drinks and food took about an hour and a half. Service (outside of the breakfast buffet) would take roughly an hour before. The food, when it did arrive was always average. This included undercooked fries and pizzas, old rice and bland dishes. Breakfast buffet was hit and miss too, literally 50/50. A couple of the days I stayed it was great and a couple the scrambled eggs were watery and wet or there were multiple whole yokes not mixed it. We were lucky enough to have had a hire car so we were easily able to explore other venues for food."

"It was our first stay in Fiji and Maui Palms was the most wonderful experience. The apartment, amenities and grounds were amazing. Being right on the beach was beautiful and we were able to do a lot of activities through the resort. Although the standout were all of the lovely friendly and helpful staff! "Where to start, wow, from when we were dropped off, the team was amazing. They performed a traditional warrior dance with full on costumes. The ocean views, rooms, restaurants, pool side and very warming culture make this an amazing place to go, for both families with kids, and also couples wanting a romantic few days. We would HIGHLY recommend it."

"My wife amd i stayed for a week and had the best relaxing week! We have a special diet and the staff/chefs accommodated every meal, and the food tasted incredible!!!! Also all the staff you meet are extremely nice - we feel like we have made friends. We absolutely recommend staying here - it is magical!"

"We had a nice time at this resort which provided us with plenty of space to lounge about. We visited during the windy season so the kayaking and snorkelling wasn't ideal, but the variety of fish life was pretty good (we even spotted a small reef shark). The pool was surprisingly quite cool ... a little too cold for us most days but the reef is nice and warm! Best part was the cooking from chef Jay as his food is delicious and priced very fairly compared to the surrounding large resorts. The resort is within convenient walking distance of a few basic restaurants and a small supermarket for essentials. We didn't rent a car but would recommend doing so, as the cost of airport transfers and getting around with Immy's Tours was very expensive and in retrospect, not worth it."
